I began my first blog in 2006 to overcome my own fear of being read. I was used to writing web copy anonymously (I have been a professional web copywriter for 13 years) and was fearful of putting my title to my writing and claiming it as my own. It appears ridiculous now but back then the fear was quite real. So real I wrote one blog article in 2006, and when I finally picked up blogging in 2009 that fear was there.Now I’m not afraid of putting my name to my writing and I’ve become a confident writer. Or as certain as any author will be.Here is what I’ve been doing to enhance my website writing skills because I started blogging. My writing may not be brilliant nonetheless but it’s getting better and I love the writing process much more also. You can not get better than that.1. PractiseSuccessful bloggers and brilliant writers weren’t born like that. They have good by writing regularly and we will need to as well. If you truly want to improve your writing you will have to put in the time too. If you would like to be a writer hopefully you like writing anyway so make writing training a highlight of your day.2. ExperimentYou won’t know what your readers like best before you attempt a couple of different subjects and writing styles. Some blog posts will be popular and people you can enlarge on in other posts or utilize to create a series with much more depth on that topic.3. Have FunWrite about things that interest and please you in a tone which flows naturally. I recommend practising your writing but I’m not saying you want to print all of it. But do write about these secret things, what you aren’t prepared to discuss with the world. Do write about the funny things that happened to you now even in the event that you don’t think anyone else will be entertained. Place your inner critic in out time. Just write and revel in the procedure.4. Forget StrategyHave you heard of writer’s block? But contractors don’t get blocked and not able to put another brick. Teachers do not run out of things to teach. I can’t think of any other job where people make excuses for not performing their job. If you’re having trouble composing forget everything else I told you and write what comes into your head. You may worry later about if you can make a blog post from it, if anybody would want to read it or your colleagues will think when they find out about your quirks and quibbles. Just write.5. Be FearlessCelebrities get stage fright and I writer’s block is caused by fear. Composing is scary. Sharing your ideas and feelings with others is a concern. Especially once you don’t know who will be reading. Placing your neck on the line by teaching others what you understand is frightful. Just write anything, every day and see what comes of it. Then create persuasive blog writing with hypnotic headlines, edit your blog article, format it, be courageous and publish it to find out what other people think. You’ll write killer blog articles and stuff that never gets published but your writing will improve.6. Share Your Voice Stop censoring yourself by listening to this little voice in mind that tells you your job and ideas are not good enough. They are. Please share your unique voice through your site because your story needs to be told. Other men and women want to hear it.7. Reject RejectionsI’ve experienced having my writing rejected and learned how to bounce back from rejection. That’s probably one of the greatest skill you’ll need to be successful in life or writing.Rejection’s a natural part of the procedure for being a successful author and nowadays I am happy to ship my writing anyplace as a guest post.
