Changing "Cookie" Settings
1.
Open Internet Explorer.
You will not need to be online to change these settings.
2.
Choose the menu Tools from
the menu bar on top.
3.
A pull down menu will be shown choose Internet
Options.
4.
Another window will appear with several tabs across the top click the
Security tab.
5.
Highlight the globe icon marked Internet
6.
In the lower part of the window click on button marked Custom
level
7.
A new window will now appear with several security options available.
Scroll down until you reach the heading “cookies”.
8.
There are two types of options to set one is to allow cookies to be
stored on your computer (saved) and the second is to allow cookies only to be
stored on your computer while on line (not saved). Each of these options has the
setting Disabled,
Enable, and
Prompt.
9.
For the first option “allow cookies to be stored on my computer”:
Choosing:

Enable will allow any
site to store cookies on your computers hard drive.
·
Disable will not allow
any site to store cookies on your computer hard drive
·
Prompt will allow you
to choose on a case by case basis
10.
For the second option “Allow per-session cookies (not stored) Choosing:

Enable will allow any
site to store cookies on your computers hard drive temporarily for that session.
·
Disable will not allow
any site to store cookies on your computer hard drive
·
Prompt will allow you
to choose on a case by case basis
